CSAM 1 upgrade

CSAM 5 upgrade

  • Auxiliary services need minimum maintenance ( contactors open and close at lull currents)
  • Auxiliary services motors must be repaired according to the maximum maintenance technology (cleaning, changing the bearings, impregnation)
  • Switching elements from the force circuit (selector-graded ensemble, contactors, inverters), they don’t have to have a high rank of usage not to affect the locomotive reliability

TSAM upgrade

  • Even though it is the most expensive upgrade type in time they amortize their costs
  • In the force circuit it is used the static switching without a movement switching element
  • It has high performance for traction
  • Increases life time period and traction motors performances by supplying them with continuous voltage and reduced potential against earthing
  • Represents the recommended solution in case the force circuit components have a high grade of usage, because their repair or replacement have a substantial cost and the reliability remains reduced
